Today, the Divergent movie Instagram page posted a new picture with the caption: Something BIG is coming. Tune in next week! #Divergent #Dauntless #Tattoo #Brave #Art #Inspire #VeronicaRoth #Allegiant

I wonder what it could be? A new trailer perhaps? Or maybe some stills? The picture looks like different pieces of different characters. Hmm. I wonder. I've also always wondered who updates the IG page...

On a Divergent related note, I'm on page 377 of Allegiant. Yay!

Read On,

"People, I have discovered, are layers and layers of secrets. You believe you know them, that you understand them, but their motives are always hidden from you, buried in their own hearts. You will never know them, but sometimes you decide to trust them."

I over dosed guys! Ahhhhh! I couldn't handle it. My mom said hey I'm near the bookstore do you want me to pick your weird book thing? Uh you mean perfect book thing? And YES I WANT THE BOOK PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!! I broke. I snapped. I feel weak ahhh sorry bye guys!
Yaaaaaaaaayy and guess what else!!!! "City of Ashes does not have a release date, but we do know that this past May, director Harald Zwart and stars Jamie Campbell-Bower and Lily Collins signed on to return for the sequel"
Look. I got them. So pretty :) I'm so excited to start reading, but I thought I'd take some time out of my precious reading time to share this moment with you guys. You better feel pretty damn special. (I also may or may not be heading to Sparknotes considering the last time I read Divergent and Insurgent was most likely well over 6 months ago. Shhhh, don't tell. Though I do suppose it's not that big of a deal, and a refresher isn't that necessary because I've read each book upwards of 7 times. Hmph.)
Yeah, if you guys have been logging on, you would've seen that I changed my currently reading to Allegiant from Starters. Starters is on hold for now.
So, yes. I finally have the final book of the Divergent trilogy in my grasp. And though I'm phsyched to start reading, the feeling is more... bittersweet. And definitely surreal. Behind Maximum Ride, Divergent is one of the very first books that got me into reading. When I first bought it from my school bookfair, I literally could not put it down. I stayed up late reading it. Even when my parents finally told me to go to bed, I was too excited about was going on in the book that it took me a while to fall asleep. And I'm honestly not ready to let that story go. It has been such a big part of my life, and it's always on my mind, and the fact that when I finish Allegiant, there will be no more Divergent? It makes me sad. Incredibly, depressingly sad. I feel like I'm losing a good friend, and I haven't even started yet. I'm not ready for it to be over. Very plainly, I'm not. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to see how it all wraps up, but once it's over, it's over. That's it. All done. And to me, that's sad.
Sorry about the sappiness above. I can get that way sometimes. So, Initiates, happy reading. And Veronica Roth, I did not go through this much emotional trauma for a crappy ending, so don't disappoint me.

"Becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it..."

So, Chels basically said. "Here, you run the News section of the website."
And me, being the idiot I am, considering I don't already have enough stuff on my plate, replied with "Sure, why not?" So yes. I'm Becca and you'll probably see me posting most often, assuming I don't forget, of course.
Nah, just kidding. I won't forget. Hopefully. (:

So on an actually book-news related note... Never Fade, the second book in the Darkest Minds trilogy by Alexandra Bracken came out yesterday, and I'm pumped. Unfortunately,  I can't get it until next week, when I will charge to the book store to get Allegiant.
Wish me luck as I hopefully don't die of the wait.
Read on, (yes, I am adapting this from Maximum Ride).

oh, and P.S. I'm hoping to end each post with a quote from a book I'm reading. Right now in school, we're reading To Kill A Mockingbird. So the first quote will be one that really struck me from that book:

"There are just some men who're so busy worrying about the next world they've never learned to live in this one."
-Harper Lee
To Kill a Mockingbird
So, as of today, we got a new snippet from CoHF, and I'm seriously loving this one. Jalec will always be on of my favorite bromances, though nothing can be Heronstairs, and we can't forget Jevin. Snippet is under the break.

If we weren't excited enough about the 7th Bane Chronicles coming out yesterday (10/15/13), the 8th already has a title and a release date! The last stand of the New York institute has a release date of November 19th This year! N
Needless to say, considering that I literally gave her the Darkest Minds last week, I'm a teensy bit on the pissed side that she got the sequel before me. She finished TDM last night, and I must say, her reactions were pretty freaking hilarious considering I've been wallowing in the same pain since the book came out. Welcome to the dark side, Allie ;). Now you know I felt for the past year, except I had to keep it bottled up. Here are her frantic messages to me at ten pm last night, though they're under the break because of SPOILERS and swearing.
